Is the glass half full or half empty???

That is an ongoing debate for many but for me the answer is a bit more direct.  I look at the glass, I see it has liquid within it and then I spend the next several minutes trying to figure out the very best avenue to take to ensure that the amount of liquid in the glass not only increases but does so in a positive way that will benefit everyone involved with that glass!  This is not the way the optimist or the pessimist processes information!  This is a glimpse into the mind of a realist (ok, I do have a dash of optimism!) and this is what I try to bring to the table as a title holder.  In being a voice for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The American Heart Association, as well as the International pageant system, each day I wake with the purpose of figuring out what more I can do to get the message of each of these amazing organizations out there.  I call it my "gotta do more, gotta be more" syndrome...and at times it consumes me!  I have found that I am at my happiest and my most relaxed (believe it or not) when I am running a thousand miles per hour in twenty different directions doing what I can for whomever I can.  They say, (once again, whoever "they" are) that if you want something done and done right give it to a busy person.  Well I am that busy person!  I am so excited for the Mrs. International pageant and so ready, should I be so blessed, to serve that title to the best of my abilities!
