A good end to January bringing in a great start to February!

It has been another one of those fabulously busy Mrs. Nevada weekends!  I started out on Friday evening at the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority Bachelor auction to raise funds for their charity, Autism Speaks.  I was invited by one of their Sorority heads, our own Miss Oregon International 2008, Courtney Caron.  While we were there, Courtney presented me with a very special honor!  She asked me to become the heart health and fitness coach for the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority at UNLV!  I will be teaching these young ladies and future leaders about getting into heart health and living a healthier lifestyle...and if on the way there we all get a little more fit then that's even better!  I will be meeting on Thursday with the Executive Director of the Las Vegas Chapter of the American Heart Association to be certain that what I am teaching is on par with their message and that of Go Red For Women!

On Sunday evening, last night, I and my wonderful husband (the MOST supportive and understanding man in the Universe) attended the Miss Nevada USA pageant at the Palms Casino's Pearl Theater.  I ran into MANY pageant friends from all systems and was able to sneak in lots of loving hugs...and got to meet Tony and Max from Dancing With the Stars!

What a GREAT lead in to February...American Heart Month!!!  I am booked solid over the next several months and am so eager to be able to share my adventures with you all!!!  I am truly blessed to be your Mrs. Nevada International 2012!
