For Regen...

I am in awe of how one little boy, whom I have never met, has changed my perspective and my motivation. Elijah "Regen" Morris, an 11, almost 12 year old little boy, was brought to my attention just a few days ago. Since then I have found a purpose that burns within me every day. Instead of focusing on the comparative little problems in my world or moving myself forward on my own path, I have dropped everything to concentrate on helping this sweet boy and his family. I am not saying this for praise for truly I had no choice in this. God called, I listened. I guess that was my choice. I could have ignored the calling. Why am I pointing out all of this? Most of us never know why we were put on this Earth. We wander and wonder, ever questioning. Regen is luckier than most of us. Not because of what he and his family are facing, that's horrific, but because he was called to his purpose early. He has, all by himself, brought together tens of thousands of people in a united cause. He has brought out the good and given people rhyme and reason within their own lives. He did this without saying a word...just with the innocent smile of a beautiful little boy. He is an angel and even a savior. I am blessed to be able to serve this little man and his family and will not stop until he is declared cancer free!!! Won't you please take just a moment and look into your own heart and help? If not Regen then maybe someone nearer to you that needs your time and your heart? Giving money is a really great thing. Giving yourself is even greater.
