Why St. Jude?

I am often asked why I chose St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as my platform?  Do you have a sick child?  Blessedly, no.  Do you have a relative or the child of a relative that is ill?  Blessedly, no.  Have you or someone you know lost a child to cancer?  Blessedly, no.  And that is why I serve!!!  It is incumbent upon me to help those who do have this horrifying struggle.  They are told to "take plenty of pictures" of your baby so you will remember them in the coming years.  They are told that their child will not make it.  They are told that their very hearts are about to be ripped from their chests and a hole that can never be filled will take its' place.  Please watch this short video from our 2011 commercial campaign.  If you do, the question of why I chose St. Jude will never pass your lips.
