Musings...

On this Memorial Day I am so thankful for the men and women who have served our country proudly, bravely and without thought to what the end result may be.  Additionally I want to thank those who stayed behind and loved them, took care of the homefront and sacrificed more than most of us could ever know or understand.  I am most especially thankful that my brother, a recently retired USAF Captain and pilot made it home FIVE times from wars or actions without having to make the supreme sacrifice although he lost more than he ever should have!  Those who know me understand that I am a ridiculously proud American!  I still cry EVERY time the National Anthem is heard or the 21 gun salute is fired!  So, thank you...thank you for allowing me the freedom to live as I choose, to worship as I choose, to serve as I choose...and to write a blog as I choose!  Happy Memorial Day!
