And I thought I was busy in the last blog!!!

On Saturday, December 10 my schedule was beyond insane!!!  At 10:00am I was asked to speak with at risk teens about being a good role model.  They were very receptive and I felt as though they really listened!  If I touched just one life in that situation then I feel blessed indeed!  Then, at 11:30 I was honored to participate in a Christmas party with underprivileged children at the Sunrise Oaks Community Center.  I was there with Santa, several elves, the ACJA Sigma Fraternity, Har Bro Construction staff, Grace Point Church, Toys For Tots and many many others!  The day was about the children with presents being passed out, face painting, art projects, etc.  I signed many autographs and took countless pictures, but the smiles on the faces of these sweet little angels was the best part of all!  After that a quick change took me to Bloomingdale's at 2pm for a shopping day benefitting Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association.  We had blood pressure screenings, healthy cooking demonstrations and more!  The shoppers received discounts for participating and we received a percentage of their spend.  A definite win/win for all!!!  At 4:30 I spoke with title hopefuls on what it takes to be not just a good titleholder, but a great one!  At this point in this particular day I felt pretty good about being a good example of that...but I wasn't done yet!  Another quick change and it was off to the Suncoast for the Domenick Allen Vinyl concert sponsored by Cadillac of Las Vegas, benefitting Toys for Tots!  It was an amazing show for an even more amazing cause!  I'm thrilled to announce that we topped our toy record from last year and brought in over 6000 new toys for the kids!!!  I'll post pictures of all of this as I receive them!  Sorry it took so long to update you all on the weekend but I was tuckered!  ;-)  Talk to you all soon!
