The first couple of weeks

I have had an amazing first couple of weeks!  Thus far I have been able to lend my title and my voice to an amazing event on November 17th that was spearheaded by my dear friend LJ Harness of Cadillac of Las Vegas.  LJ saw a need for sleeping bags for the homeless veterans of Las Vegas and put out the call to the entertainment people in our fair city.  He was able to amass an amazing cast including Domenick Allen, formerly of Foreigner!  Hosted by Natalie Carson and Jay Joseph, The Suncoast Casino held an afternoon of music with a purpose!  We filled two full trailers full of not only sleeping bags, but coats, clothing, warm socks, shoes, etc.!!!  The next day I was at a press conference speaking for the Shelter of Hope.  This is a division of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission helping women and children in crisis.  It is almost completely funded by private donation as it is a Christian organization and not eligible as such for more than a small federally funded food supply.  Sampson Boxing was holding an incredible card at Texas Station Casino and was donating a portion of their proceeds to Shelter of Hope.  I was then treated to VIP status at the matches on Sunday the 20th!  Two titles were up for grabs and the biggest winner of the day was Shelter of Hope!  For Thanksgiving I was privileged to be part of a group that was able to collect enough food to feed 100 needy Vegas families a proper Thanksgiving Dinner!  We actually collected enough to not only reach this goal but to provide food and clothing to over 100 homeless as well!!!  On a personal note my ten year old stepson played in a National Tackle Football tournament all Thanksgiving and won the national title!!!  Go Creed Red Nation!!!  This week I will be at the Santa Run Saturday, December 3rd benefiting "Las Vegas' Favorite Charity" Opportunity Village.  Then later the same day I will be participation in OV's Stiletto Run at the Venetian!  All of this was done while running my business and serving on the board of the Las Vegas Chapter of St. Jude Childrens Hospital as the Chair of PR and Marketing!  I am truly living a blessed life!  Stay tuned for pictures and many more adventures!!!
